I was going to go for a pizza chicken packet that I’ve read about.  The idea was chicken, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, onions, peppers in a packet.  I was getting the things together and pulled out the pizza sauce.  I opened it up, and there was something that wasn’t pizza sauce on the top of it.  It might be possible to remove it and go from there, but I’ve got this ingrained idea of food back when I worked at a Boy Scout camp.  The commissary rule was “If in doubt, throw it out.”

As a single person, one of the worst things that could happen would be getting sick without someone to say you’re sick, I’m going to take you to the doctor.  Food poisoning isn’t on my top 10 list of things to do on the weekend.

I already had the chicken out and thawed… and some other meats, so I wondered what I could do with it.  Back to the boat idea of the mustard chicken, I put down a layer of onions, then had three chicken fingers on them.  On top of one, I put a slice of Canadian bacon.  Over another I put a slice of deli cut ham.  Over the third I put some pepperoni, and stuck a few cloves into/over it.

I’m curious how each of these meats will turn out.  Its being cooked at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

Not quite chicken cordon blue…

So, crisp is something I’d use to describe much of it.  Thirty minutes at 400 makes for very crisp ham, bacon, and pepperoni.  Good, but if you don’t like it that way, its not for you.  The cloves were the most of the flavors.

Something I’ll have to look at in the future is this ham and chicken recipe.  It looks simple enough,
